STNY Flyers 2010 Player Registration Instructions

  There are FOUR things you MUST do to register for the 2010 Flyers Season:

  1. Join the AAU before registration day and bring your membership card with you on registration day.

• You’ll need a credit card, a computer, and a printer. The fee player AAU registration fee is $ 14.00

 

• Print out your membership card and bring it with you to registration and use your registration # when you fill out the Flyers on-line form (see Section #2 below).

 

• Please note that girls who joined AAU for this winters Flyers 5th and 6th grade girl’s league will not need to rejoin, but you must bring your card with you to

  registration day and you will need your registration number to complete the Flyers registration (see Section #2 below).

 

• Unless you have joined the AAU on a multi-year membership, you will need to renew every year (as annual memberships expire on August 31st of each year).

  Bottom line - You need to make sure you have a current AAU membership!!!

Here's how to join the AAU:

1.      Players go to https://secure.aausports.org/aaustore/register/athlete2.asp

2.      The beginning of the form is easy...just fill in the blanks.

3.      When you get to the "Program" box select "Youth Program"

4.      When you get to the "Membership Term Category" select "Membership expires August 31st 2010, Added Benefit Membership $14.00"

5.      For "Sport" select "Basketball-Girls”

6.      For "AAU Club Name" type: STNY Flyers

7.      For "AAU Club Code" type: NIBWYD4KB0

 

  1. Answer the Do you have Health Insurance question

 

  1. Answer the Auto Renewal question

10. Hit the “Save and continue” button

11. You will be taken to a screen where you can add more athletes or finish.  Hit the “Finish” button or “Add Athlete” if you are registering more than one player

12. Follow the directions and fill out billing information as necessary.

13. Print out each athlete "Membership card" and bring it with you to the registration day.

 

 2. Fill out the Flyers on-line form before registration day

 • It’s easy, click this link: http://www.leaguelineup.com/stnyflyers and then

click on Online Forms under the Main Menu and follow the simple

instructions. As noted in section #1 – you’ll need your AAU membership #.

(If you miss the online registration period, you can register at U.E. High School between noon and 4 pm on February 22nd - bring your AAU card with you.)

 

3. Come to the registration day at Union Endicott High School from 11:30 am- 3:30 pm on Sunday, February 28th.

 • You must bring your AAU membership card with you to registration

• There will be a $ 150.00 deposit this year due on registration day. (This

allows us to get our tournament entries in early.) $ 50.00 will be refunded after our tournament if a parent works for ½ day at the tournament.

• Deposit is refundable if player does not make team or withdraws before uniforms are ordered.

• You must come to registration - we will be sizing uniforms and we need parent’s signature to permit players to participate.

 

4. Attend both tryouts for your age group
